ART EXHIBITION Come see the impression of 19 artists on the much speculated date - Dec 21, 2012 in relation to the Mayan calendar which stopped yesterday. BUSKER FEST Come and witness the biggest busking competition in Malaysia today at KLCC from 9am till 7pm. An estimated 50 groups of buskers are expected to participate in the "Malaysian Youth Busker Fest 2012". Over 200 buskers will also be busking together a Malaysian song in attempt to make it into the Malaysian Book of Records. GREEN CONCERT WWF-Malaysia and its Earth Hour partners, including DiGi, Sunway Pyramid and Universal Music Malaysia, are inviting Malaysian bands to participate in the inaugural Earth Hour Band Contest to build environmental awareness through music. The contest is open to three-person to six-person bands comprising of Malaysian citizens who are not signed with any record label. Interested bands can submit their videos to www.facebook.com/wwfmy before 5pm on Jan 22. XMAS FUNDRAISER The Puchong Tabernacle Assembly, a church in Bandar Puteri Puchong, will be having a fundraising event at IOI Mall (old wing, near Kenny Rogers Roasters) today and tomorrow. Wristbands and other items will be on sale and the public can make a wish on the Christmas tree. Funds raised will be channelled to Bethany Home in Teluk Intan, Perak. It is a rich and colourful celebration of the compassionate Remover of Obstacles, the elephant headed god Lord Ganesha, in a fusion of classical and contemporary music and dance styles.
