Trailer Park - Iron Man 3

Posted: 02 Nov 2012 02:36 AM PDT

The theme of heroes falling down and picking themselves up amidst chaos has been surfacing a lot on film lately. Judging from the trailer of the third Iron Man film, it looks like we get to see this theme once again, starting with our metal friend flat on his back and obviously injured.

The official synopsis is: Brash but brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man goes against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed by his enemy, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible.

This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him – does the man make the suit or vice versa?

In the trailer, we see Stark's home destroyed (which is strangely reminiscent of the Enterprise falling, probably due to the shape of his house). The baddie is The Mandarin (Ben Kingsley) who appears briefly, but is very effective. The other new guy is Aldrich Killian (played by Guy Pearce).

Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce and Black. Visit IronManMovie3.com or check out the tweets (@Iron_Man). Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle and Jon Favreau reprise their roles, while Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak and James Badge Dale co-star. The film is set to arrive in Malaysia on April 25, next year.
