Posted: 28 Sep 2012 12:27 AM PDT The Wolverine IS it just us or is Wolverine looking a lot older? We thought he didn't age ... But, based on this latest image, it seems like his zero-fat body with those six-pack abs, vein-popping muscles and that very angry look are enough for us to guess that Wolverine means serious business. Hugh Jackman reprises his role as the fan-favourite member of The X-Men for the fifth time (not including his cameo in X-Men: First Class, of course). He does this under the direction of James Mangold (Walk The Line and 3:10 To Yuma), with a story based on a 1982 comic book by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller. In this particular story, Logan goes to Japan, only to become more of an outsider. Fortunately, he finds some excitement in the form of romance and samurai warriors. According to the official synopsis provided by Twentieth Century Fox, Wolverine also confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed. Co-starring Will Yun Lee and Tao Okamoto. The Wolverine is tentatively scheduled to open July 25, 2013. |
