Sean Kingston stabilised after watercraft accident

MIAMI (AP): Hip-hop singer Sean Kingston remains hospitalised after crashing his watercraft into a Miami Beach bridge.

Publicist Joseph Carozza said Tuesday there were no updates on 21-year-old Kingston's condition. On Monday, the publicist said Kingston had been stabilised and moved to the intensive care unit at Miami's Ryder Trauma Center.

Officer Jorge Pino of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says the singer and a female passenger were injured Sunday afternoon when their watercraft hit the Palm Island Bridge. Pino says both were thrown into the water and picked up by a passing boater.

Kingston rose to fame with his 2007 hit "Beautiful Girls" and has been featured on songs by artists including Justin Bieber.

Jolin set to wow at June 11 concert

PETALING JAYA: The hardworking maiden of the mandopop industry, Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai, is expecting to raise the roof at her June 11 concert at Stadium Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur.

The pop princess, currently promoting her new album, Myself, will perform a dance-music oriented set which promises to be a feast for the eyes and ears.

"There will be 11 outfit changes, with one costume for every song. I've got to rely on experts to help me with the quick changes," she said during a recent press conference on her Myself World Tour.

Her new album also sees her taking on the hit song Vogue, a house dance style made famous by superstar Madonna and Malcolm McLaren, punk band The Sex Pistol's deceased former manager.

Her global tour sees her making stops in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and other locations in mainland China.

The 30-year-old has been working hard by practising her singing while jogging to make sure she's in the best shape for her tour.

"In the past, I was too focused on giving flawless performances. Hence, I was never really able to truly enjoy what I was doing.

"Nowadays, I still want everything to be perfect, but I will allow myself to enjoy the process," she said of her perfectionist nature.

The pretty lass is looking forward to performing for her Malaysian audience.

"The show will be a mega dance party, so music lovers can play dress up and join in the fun. We will be partying all night," she assured her fans here.

Singer Sean Kingston crashes watercraft in Miami

MIAMI (AP) - Authorities say rapper Sean Kingston is hospitalised after crashing a personal watercraft into a Miami Beach bridge.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission spokesman Jorge Pino says Kingston and a female passenger were injured when the watercraft hit the Palm Island Bridge around 6 p.m. Sunday.

Pino says both were hospitalised early Monday at Ryder Trauma Center, but he didn't know their conditions.

Pino says authorities are investigating the crash, and "nothing at this point would indicate that alcohol played a role."

A representative for his label Epic Records confirmed early Monday that Kingston was in a crash and "was now stabilised." No further information was provided.

Kingston rose to fame with his 2007 hit "Beautiful Girls" and was also featured on songs by artists including Justin Bieber.
