Pitching a good idea

Posted: 29 Jul 2011 02:53 AM PDT

NTV7 is providing a platform for entrepreneurs to present their business ideas through its latest TV reality show – Make The Pitch – and also rewarding the winner with up to RM500,000 worth of funding.

A collaboration between the TV station and MyEG, Make The Pitch is open to individuals aged 18 and above who have a registered company in their name.

Registered societies, non-governmental organisations and associations which have an innovative idea are also welcomed to take part. The organisation must be represented by a person who is capable of creating change from within the said organisation.

The show, which is slated to premiere on Oct 12 at 8.30pm, is open for auditions.

Those interested can attend the auditions tomorrow and on Sunday (10am-4pm) at Sri Pentas, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Shortlisted contestants will be invited to a recording session where they will pitch their ideas to a panel of potential investors. Those who make it in this round will be offered a marketing task and seed money to create a campaign to sell their idea to the public.

Meanwhile, a group of investors who will help budding entrepreneurs execute their innovative ideas have been identified and they will be investing their money in the entrepreneur's company.

For those who have great business ideas but have no capital, do attend the auditions this weekend and make the pitch of your life.
