'Batman-Superman' official title and logo revealed Posted: 21 May 2014 09:45 PM PDT It is now Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. Warner Bros has finally released the title and logo of its highly-anticipated Batman-Superman project. Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice started filming yesterday in the city of Detroit in Michigan, the United States. Zack Snyder helms this movie, with Henry Cavill reprising his role as Superman and Ben Affleck donning Batman's cape. Just about a week ago, Snyder revealed a picture of Affleck wearing the familiar black costume and standing next to his ride, the Batmobile. Reactions to that reveal have been positive, with many fans showing a liking for Batman's "short ears" and the Batmobile's return to a more "classic" look. The movie also stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons as Alfred, while Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane – who were in Man Of Steel – will reprise their roles in this sequel. Although plot details for the movie are still unknown, the official title seems to hint at having links to a Justice League film that Snyder is set to direct. Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice is set for a mid-2016 release; apart from the US, production will also take place in Africa and somewhere in the South Pacific. Related story: |
