The new Parents & Kids Expo caters for families with young children and tweens.

HAVING successfully organised the Motherhood Expo for nearly a decade now, HareNet Communications Sdn Bhd is launching a new event, Parents & Kids Expo, to cater for families with children aged between three and 12 years old.

It will be held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from tomorrow to Sunday (Aug 30 to Sept 1).

Apart from an emphasis on Early Childhood & Primary Education, the latest expo will have a toy show. There will be seminars, interactive games, contests, and a broad range of exhibits that interest parents as well as kids in the targeted group.

Educational institutions such as Taylor's, Nexus, Tenby, Jaya One and AISM will be showcasing their preschool programmes. Parents can attend a seminar by HELP International School on Saturday (Aug 31), from 3.15pm to 4.15pm, to check out the options available for their school-going kids.

The toy show, meanwhile, will showcase the latest educational toys for toddlers and children. Ocon Studios, the producer and licence holder for popular animation characters Pororo the Little Penguin and Dibo the Gift Dragon from South Korea, will be introducing their latest products at the event. Those wishing to become the domestic licensee or local distributor of its products can contact HareNet Communications to register for an invitation-only seminar.

Children who tag along can take part in fun contests and games that run all day. Any visitor who spends RM100 or above on a single receipt with any exhibitors at the expo is eligible to participate in the daily lucky draws.

The Parents & Kids Expo will be held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (Halls 4 and 5) on Aug 30 to Sept 1, from 10am to 9pm (Friday and Saturday) and from 10am to 8pm (Sunday). Admission is free and comes with door gifts. For more information, contact Xandria: 03-9132 9888 or 017-713 1633.
