Charlize Theron to star in a crime thriller Posted: 26 Mar 2013 09:01 PM PDT The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Charlize Theron is to star in a suspense-thriller set against a backdrop of vigilantism and corruption. After playing villains in Prometheus and Snow White And The Huntsman in 2012, Theron has many new projects in the pipeline. The 37-year-old actress is now looking to take part in a criminal intrigue by Dan Nowak, the screenwriter of US TV drama The Killing. Not much is known about the plot of the as-yet-untitled movie, described as similar to End Of Watch and The Departed. Before then, Theron will film the comedies A Million Ways to Die In The West and Ladies Night. She will also play the lead role in Gilles Paquet-Brenner's Dark Places, a psychological criminal drama based on a bestseller by Gillian Flynn. (Relaxnews) |
A full cast of Ninja Turtles joins Megan Fox Posted: 26 Mar 2013 08:45 PM PDT Paramount has reportedly picked the four actors who will star in The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the new film based on the 1980s pop culture phenomenon. According to Deadline.com, Noel Fisher, Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard and Pete Ploszek will play the main characters in the movie coproduced by Michael Bay. They will respectively give mutant turtles Michaelangelo, Raphael, Donatello and Leonardo their expressions, gestures and voices. The comic book characters, created in 1984 and who are crazy about martial arts and pizza, will encounter journalist April O'Neil, who will be played by Megan Fox. Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath Of The Titans) will direct the movie, conceived as a reboot of the saga. It will be the fourth live-action film for the Ninja Turtles since 1990. (Relaxnews) |
