Take part in 3-on-3 unity junior basketball carnival Posted: 22 Jan 2013 03:58 AM PST THE fourth U R My Bro three-on-three unity junior basketball carnival will be held at the Tan Sri Tee Hock Seng Sports Complex in SJK (C) Taman Connaught, Cheras on Feb 3. As part of their ongoing campaign to allow sports followers to foster friendship through sports, SportsUnite chairman Datuk Dina Rizal said they continued to opt for a commonly used colloquial phrase in naming the tournament to stay connected with the youngsters. "Each team is required to field players from two different races on court over the duration of play in each encounter. Our main aim is to promote the spirit of unity," he added. For the upcoming one-day meet, the three categories for boys are Under-14, Under-16 and Under-18. They can only accommodate a maximum of 20 teams in each age-group. Entry fee is RM15 for each team. Entry closes on Jan 31. Among the partners for the tournament jointly organised by SportsUnite and MVP Marketing are Milo, Revive and Molten.
