Beer brand unveils a mystery of epic proportions for its fans

Posted: 09 Nov 2012 04:29 AM PST

UNCONVENTIONAL, unique and ambiguous — that has been the cornerstone of Carlsberg's epic Where's The Party series of events ever since its launch in Sweden.

The global phenomenon has gained traction among music buffs that love a good party but have no clue where it is happening, who is performing or what to expect.

Born out of the need to produce and offer Carlsberg fans the ultimate party experience, the mystery event hones in on consumers' natural fascination with the unknown.

Carlsberg breaks away from the norm and entrances beer fans with a one-of-a-kind, spectacular event that brings together an experiential journey from beginning to end.

Much like executing an experiment of sorts, punters are given the opportunity to embark on a journey by first getting themselves on the Carlsberg's Where's The Party guest list.

If successful, a channel of correspondence then fills their mailbox and specific clues are given out to ensure partygoers are equipped for the ride.

A designated meeting point will be organised for the eager adventurers and they will then be transported to party central.

Carlsberg Malaysia managing director Soren Ravn said, "This is one of the best platforms from Carlsberg yet. The series is undoubtedly an exciting venture that we believe delivers exactly what our consumers are looking for.

"The element of surprise stays throughout the event and, as we push the boundaries further, I can guarantee that Where's The Party is only going to get bigger and better."

This round, Carlsberg plays host to the third instalment of Where's The Party featuring cutting-edge staging and infectious vibes, all with a Carlsberg twist.

The massive showcase presents a mega line-up of acts comprising local heroes to fantastic music gurus from around the world.

Fans are encouraged to step-up and discover their adventurous streak as they venture towards the unknown.
