The ever-evolving Red FM is determined to be everyone's favourite station.

Things at Red FM have been heating up lately in anticipation of the results of the "most popular radio station" survey, in which radio stations in the country are ranked according to its popularity.

Red FM has been enjoying continuous growth over the last five years and always strives to do better. Now, the question that is burning in the minds of everyone at Red FM is ... will the radio station be able to keep up its pace and momentum?

With the dynamic pairing of radio DJ pioneer Lil Kev and Malaysia's girl-next-door Sarimah Ibrahim, the station has also enjoyed further growth in its breakfast hour listenership. The duo really do get Red FM listeners energised and ready to face the day.

Red FM also champions local upcoming artistes with a segment called Red Unsigned. Every Wednesday (7pm-10pm), Fiqrie hosts the segment that features unsigned artistes and highlights their music on air. Then, these artistes get to feature their music in a monthly on-ground event that happens at The Curve in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Red FM offers a lifestyle focus to reach out to its listeners, constantly coming up with innovative and interactive segments.

However, radio listening has taken a dramatic shift where younger people are starting to favour retro classics, on top of the latest chart-topping hits.

Will Red FM's mix of music provide the perfect platform for this market? Only time will tell.
