Tan Tong, a renowned artist has gone through half a century in the cultivation of art creation with extensive research on Picasso. This exhibition showcases 85 artworks. | For a family that plays together Posted: 23 Dec 2011 05:18 AM PST THE inaugural Family Bowling carnival, with the encouraging participation of 80 teams at the Pyramid Megalanes in Sunway, was a big success. Themed Harmonious Family, the carnival was organised by the National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN), SportsUnite and Pyramid Megalanes. Milo were the co-sponsors. LPPKN director general Datuk Aminah Abdul Rahman said they were pleased with the response for the carnival. "LPPKN sees the value of sports as a very good means to promote the spirit of family togetherness. We are looking forward to organising more sports and recreational programmes for families in the future," said Aminah. The carnival was a team event. Each team comprised three family members who must be graded bowlers. Due to the overwhelming response, the carnival was extended to two sessions.
